CORTEX 2050 is a synthetic sci-fi hip-hop collective comprising eleven AI-generated artists, each one representing a cognitive function of the human brain. Together they form The Cortex Collective — a secret research organisation that exists to document humanity's transition from biological civilisation to digital civilisation, told in bars.

The sound sits at the intersection of conscious hip-hop and cyberpunk cinema. Deep bass, atmospheric synth pads, glitch textures, and production that feels less like a playlist and more like a futuristic documentary playing at 3am. Every track is deliberate. Nothing is decorative.

CORTEX 2050: Introductions established the voices. THE LAST HUMAN GENERATION ran the opera — a ten-track narrative arc from civilisation booting up the machine age to confronting what it built.
